The yellow and black painting was painted by a very distinguished student of hers, Alma Thomas. Wonderful post of a true great. In Los Angeles there is a retrospective of Jone's work at the California AFrican American Museum.
Nice post, but the yellow graphic image, 4th from the bottom, is actually from another African American female artist, Alma Thomas, called "Oriental Garden Concerto (1976)."
